Panasonic Lumix S1R review

Quality

To compare the resolution and noise levels between the Lumix S1 and Lumix S1R, I photographed the following subject at every ISO setting, using each camera in turn fitted with the 24-105mm zoom at 50mm f8. The exposures were identical at each ISO value. I’ve taken crops from each image indicated by the red rectangle and presented them at 100% for close inspection in the table below. These are taken from out-of-camera JPEGs, although I also shot in RAW and will add RAW results once both bodies are supported in Adobe Camera RAW.
